Competition Instructions

• There will be a winner and runner up in each category.
  
  
• There is no word limit - but don't think that the longer the story, the better it will be!
  
  
• Your story should be sent in the body of an email - NOT as an attachment.
  
  
• Read your story carefully to yourself and make sure you have used really descriptive vocabulary. It sounds obvious, but make sure the story has a beginning, middle and end. Look at the writing activities section on this site to give you some ideas about planning and characters.
  
  
• Choose the story starter that grabs your imagination - and get scribbling!
